Hunters Point was tapped by Mischief agency for another Molson Coors project: The Spicy Slice Challenge Kit. Inspired by pairing Blue Moon with spicy food and shows like “Hot Ones”, Mischief ideated the brand’s iconic Valencia Orange Slice with a new custom hot spice to see how much Blue Moon would be needed to quench one’s thirst. Hunters Point was challenged to create a new flavor profile that could be mass produced with shelf stable spicy orange slices as well as a home kitchen recipe that consumers could recreate. Required to use on their iconic weizen glasses, we found the only printer in the U.S. that was able to print on the glasses as well as sourced backup engraving options. Finally, we supported the Mischief design team with our 3D design skills to create a look that translates to the box while also ensuring all elements are kitted in a safe and stylish shippable carton. Under a tight manufacturing deadline, we were able to create early kits to enable a Colin Jost celebrity pre-launch campaign, then supplied hundreds of kits for influencers, media and consumers, on time, on budget, and even made extra every time Blue Moon requested.
