Ad Agency Mischief turned to Hunters Point to transform the iconic NPR HQ sign in Washington, DC to highlight a "right to curiosity" with new WHY and HOW lettering - all part of a much bigger campaign to boldly declare its commitment to fight for Americans' rights to ask questions both big and small. As mega fans of NPR, Hunters Point was happy to take on this project managing all permits, vendors, and on site production, while waiving all staff and agency fees, to transform the sign in an expedited turn around from kick off to installation.
With PR coverage that dominated print, digital, and broadcast nationally and in activated markets, the campaign doubled in effort to help to drive donations that keep NPR programs running to serve the American public. NPR loved their new sign so much that they kept it up beyond the initially planned 2 week activation.
